Satisfied

13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

~ Psalm 139:13-14

There are some days when I think I’m going to die from an overdose of satisfaction.

~ Salvador Dalí

Yesterday was one of those days.  So many things got done at work, significant details accomplished. I had a lunch where I was a privileged participant, an honored guest, a person who heard and was heard.  I felt honored when I returned to work, where I was met with more satisfaction.

When I returned home, my lawn was nearly mowed, the yard looked beautiful, the dog was walked.  The start to dinner was a little rocky, but all in all, the evening was lovely, and I went to bed tired and satisfied.  The cycle has been completed, and we bask for a moment before the next lesson begins.

Today, Praise the Lord, you are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made. Celebrate every note you play correctly, every detail you got right, every smile you give and receive.

Because of Him,

Linda
