A Different Take on the Offering

If you make any money, the government shoves you in the creek once a year with it in your pockets, and all that don’t get wet you can keep.

     ~ Will Rogers

For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

     ~ Romans 13:6-7

If you wanna keep you money

why not ziploc it inside

you might look kinda funny

but your money will be dry.

When the government starts to taxin’

all the ziplocs in defense,

it’ll cost more to buy ziplocs

then to give them all your cents!

If you give your stash to Jesus

the reward is multiplied

and you won’t need no more ziplocs,

your needs’ll be satisfied!

Because of Him,

Linda
