Right With God

I am a kind of paranoiac in reverse. I suspect people of plotting to make me happy.

How? you ask. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.
                                                                ~ 2 Corinthians 5:21
 Being right with God.
A lonely place.
A foreign place for this skiff of flesh.
The port is small,
the way narrow.
The channel is choked with that
which grows well on garbage.
But God is the Flying Fox*
who makes my way clear.
Who shows me life teaming
with light, when the sky grows dim.
Because of Him,
*Flying Fox is an algae eating fish for freshwater ponds.
