Hi! I have missed you. Many of you know that I put this same column on a blog at WordPress. If you already read it there, please let me know. If you need to be let off the e-mail distribution list, please let me know. Otherwise, I am back after a longer hiatus than I would have liked.
During the week of July 12, my mother-in-law passed away. The aftershock indeed shook my summer and continues to do so. So, if you read “Final Exhortations.” and thought, “uh oh, she’s done,” you were only half right. I am in a different place, and I hope my writing reflects that.
So instead of going through the time I lost this summer, I begin with this: we are indeed part of a system, a system of God’s which indeed is gets its balance, adjustment, cleansing through Him.
I am ready to be reminded to rejoice in the Lord always. So I thought I would start this new season (Fall begins on the 21st,) with a song.
Rejoice in the Lord Always.
